ACS was one of the few Italian companies to exhibit its innovations at JEC World in Paris, the most important international trade fair dedicated to composite materials. ACS was also the only company to showcase applications made with PCM (Prepreg compression molding) technology, which is currently one of the most interesting technologies for the serial production of high-volume carbon fiber parts.
During the event, which recently took place in the French capital, ACS established contacts and consolidated its ties with dozens of international manufacturers operating in the various sectors concerned mentioned above. In addition contact was also made with manufacturers in other specific sectors (such as eVTOL, vertical take-off and landing aircraft) where the demand for lightweight and resistant products such as composites is constantly growing.
Among the innovations exhibited by ACS and highly appreciated by the JEC audience were also supercar parts made of biocomposites, the composites made of natural fibers that are, in particular, currently attracting the attention of supercar manufacturers.
